THE WOODLANDS — A long, hot day at Weldon Willig Field was all worth it for The Woodlands’ 7-on-7 summer football team.
The Woodlands’ Dylan Larsen hit Zach Stamm in the end zone for the only touchdown in overtime, adding a two-point conversion pass to Chris Bell as the Highlanders outlasted Spring Westfield 28-20 on Saturday in the championship game of a state qualifying tournament at TWHS.
