Local seventh grader takes first place at Tae Kwon Do event

Twenty-six competitors from across the country showed up to participate in the Cadet Division of the 2013 USA Tae Kwon Do National Championships, held in Chicago July 3-8. However, one competitor, Jon Andrew Beamesderfer of The Woodlands, stood above the rest and took home the the first-place prize in the poomsae competition. Click here for full story
