With a tradition-rich volleyball pedigree, the College Park Lady Cavaliers will be returning for their 2013 season with a heavy chip on their shoulder after an early playoff exit last season. Only their tenth season of varsity play, College Park seniors will draw on the schools already rich history of all-state and nationally-recognized players for inspiration.
Three upperclassman may lead the pack but don’t forget sophomore Kennedi Smith. The hybrid athlete will be another key part to scoring points for head coach Candice Collins in 2013. Andi Platt will provide some defense, while sophomore Hannah Erwin will be a name to watch for the next three seasons. The super-soph is the sister of Lexi Erwin, who stars at Michigan, and Taylor of Emory.
