The Woodlands twice bounced back from losses in the second set to win the prestigious Texas Invitational on Saturday, defeating two-time defending Class 5A state champion Coppell in the championship match in Pearland.
“Our girls did a good job of not getting down,” Lady Highlanders coach Leslie Madison said. “They persevered, they stayed composed.”
