Oak Ridge Senior Jacob Norton in the season opener versus Cy-Falls completed 5 of 5 passes for 81 yards and a 30-yard touchdown pass to Jarmarquis Durst in the War Eagles 37-16 win over the Cy-Falls Eagles.

The Woodlands Senior Outside Hitter Madison McDaniel tallied a total of 26 kills to help the Highlanders to a 2-0 week last week defeating Kingwood 3-1 and Tomball 3-0, respectively.
