Johnson, who was a second-team all-district selection for College Park last season, is a vital part of what might be District 14-5A’s most stout defense.
“

We’re a lot more experienced,” Johnson said. “We’re hungry this year. We believe that we’ve got the best defense because we were the No. 1 defense for a while last year, but we just didn’t know how to finish out games. Most of the games we lost, the defense was the last one on the field. We learned from that, and now we’re hungry and ready to prove to everybody that we’re the best out there.”
