The Woodlands football team passed the final test of its non-district schedule with flying colors on Friday night, defeating Monterrey Prepa Tec 31-0 at Woodforest Bank Stadium after an hour-long lightning delay.
The No. 10 Highlanders (2-2) improved to 4-0 all-time against the Borregos Salvajes (0-4), or Wild Rams, and will stroll into District 14-5A play with momentum on their side.
