Cross Country: Nasta named TXRunning Runner of the Week for private schools

Pedro Nasta, a junior at The John Cooper School, was named txrunning.com Runner of the Week for private schools.
Nasta earned the honor after setting a season-best time of 15 minutes, 55.79 seconds in the three-mile run at the Andy Wells Invitational in Kingwood on Saturday. He placed third.
Klein Oak senior Brad Dohner won the race in 15:23.95, while The Woodlands’ Logan Emery was second in 15:44.87. Nasta finished second to Dohner at Friday Night Lights in The Woodlands to open the season.
