The College Park High School volleyball team was a bit out of sorts on the road Tuesday at Marsha Porter Gym. A freshman coach was called away unexpectedly prior to the match with Conroe and head volleyball coach Candice Collins stepped in, so she wasn’t with the team prior to the start of the match.

Sophomore Kennedi Smith was a passenger in an auto accident on the way to school today, suffering a cut to her forehead that did not require stitches. She didn’t make the trip to Conroe but is expected to play Friday when College Park hosts A&M Consolidated at 6 p.m.
