MEAUX LEADS CAVS

College Park beat The Woodlands in dramatic fashion to capture both the girls and boys team titles in the District 14-5A Championships on Thursday morning at College Park High School.
The Lady Cavaliers and Lady Highlanders finished with 28 points apiece, which forced a sixth-spot tiebreaker to decide the champion. That’s where College Park had the advantage, as Sarah Batton’s 10th-place finish edged a 12th-place finish by The Woodlands’ Meghan Brown.
