Cavaliers win Boys title for first time in school history
History was made for College Park High School as they hosted, then swept the boys and girls 2013 District 14-5A championships Thursday.
“It’s a great accomplishment and we are really proud of the kids, they’ve been training hard and it was a close battle and could of gone either way,” said Cavalier Head Coach Mike Gibson.
College Park and The Woodlands finished in a tie for first place in the girls rankings with a total of 28 points each, respectively. The tie breaker goes to the team’s sixth-place finisher, which was 10th for College Park and 12th for The Woodlands. A&M Consolidated finished third with 104 points. click here for full story
