The Oak Ridge High School football team hosted the A&M Consolidated Tigers on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Conroe’s Buddy Moorhead Stadium.

They were trying to do what no other Oak Ridge High School football team had ever done. On Friday, the 7-0 War Eagles were trying to become the first-ever in the program’s history to start the season with eight consecutive victories.

This season’s start matched the 2002 team that started 7-0 at the Class 4A level and went on to the region finals. click here for full story
