Courtney Eckenrode and The Woodlands High School volleyball team, ranked No. 1 in the state and the nation, traveled across town with designs on clinching the District 14-5A crown with a victory over College Park. And clinch they did with a convincing yet hard fought sweep of the Lady Cavaliers, 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-18).

Eckenrode turned in her normal productive game dishing out 25 assists as The Woodlands moved to 36-0 overall and 11-0 in District 14-5A with the victory over College Park (22-10, 8-3). click here for full story
