
Tyler Patrick was an All-District 14-5A and all-county defensive back for The Woodlands last season. He had three interceptions and was the lone underclassman on the first team of the all-county team. But The Woodlands coach Mark Schmid thought Patrick could have an even greater impact as a wide receiver this year. So the 5-foot-11, 175-pound Patrick began the transition from defense to offense during spring drills.
Sometimes Patrick gets on the field with the Highlanders’ defense. And he leads District 14-5A in punt returns, averaging nearly 17 yards per return. click here for full story
