VOLLEYBALL: Kingwood falls to No. 1 The Woodlands in regional quarterfinals

The third time wasn’t the charm for Kingwood. The Woodlands defeated the Lady Mustangs 25-16, 25-13, 25-9 on Tuesday night in a Class 5A Region II quarterfinal match at Porter High School.

It was the third time the two teams had met this year and was the third victory for the No. 1 nationally-ranked Lady Highlanders.
