College Park got off to a slow start in Monday night’s non-district game against Houston Lamar in The Woodlands. The Cavaliers kicked it into another gear in the second half. College Park limited Lamar to 20 points in the second half on its way to a 73-58 victory over the Redskins. The Cavaliers are unbeaten in three games.
“We came out in the first half and were pretty lethargic,” College Park coach Clifton McNeely said. “They really outplayed us (in the first half). In the second half, we made some adjustments and got after it.”
