Murray State linebacker Perry Cooper, a graduate of The Woodlands High School, was named Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Eastern Kentucky, the league announced on Monday.

Cooper had 12 tackles (six solo) and a pass breakup, but his biggest play came on the final play of the game in Murray State’s overtime victory over rival Eastern Kentucky. click here for complete story
