The District 14-5A opener was over before it ever got started.
The Woodlands High School girls’ basketball team scored the first 26 points of the 14-5A curtain-raiser at home Tuesday and went on for a 58-20 victory over the College Park High School girls’ basketball team.
The Lady Highlanders led 26-3 at the quarter and 36-10 at the half before taking a 49-12 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Nicole Iademarco hit six of 11 shots from the floor, scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Kristin Mahoney added 14 points to lead the way. click here for complete story
