Knox Jr. High teacher, robotics team win $5,000 STEM grant

Representatives with Clariant Oil and Mining Services presented a special group of Conroe ISD students and a Knox Junior High School teacher with a $5,000 STEM Grant as part of a new initiative designed to reward local science and robotics teams.

Katrina Meng, eighth-grade science teacher at Knox Junior High School and robotics team coach, and seven CISD students from both Knox and Wilkerson Intermediate School demonstrated the group’s FIRST LEGO League project.
