The 49th annual Conroe Christmas Classic gets under way with the host Tigers taking on Magnolia West and Willis facing Sam Houston Math, Science and Technology Center at 9 a.m. Friday.
Oak Ridge, the other Montgomery County team playing in the 16-team field, tips off against Dekaney at 3 p.m. The War Eagles will then face Crosby or MacArthur at 6 p.m.
The Conroe junior varsity team, a late fill-in for Channelview, squares off against Westfield at 10:30 a.m.
The varsity Tigers or Mustangs will play the Wildkats at noon Friday. Depending on the outcome of their first games, the contest will either be in the loser’s bracket or the championship quarterfinals. click here for complete story and brackets
