Members of The Woodlands High School Lady Highlanders Soccer Team recently hosted a holiday party for residents of the Copperwood Senior Apartment Complex.

More than 110 seniors enjoyed the festivities, which included holiday presents, cookies, door prizes and special ornaments created by the players and presented to the residents during the party. There was also caroling to music performed by The Woodlands Sweethearts.”

“I am extremely proud of these girls and how hard they worked to make this celebration special for our area seniors,” said Lisa Baeckel, vice president of the Lady Highlanders Soccer Booster Club, in the release. “I know it means a lot to the girls to be here and we hope it means even more to the residents in attendance.”
