The Woodlands’ Jacob Weingrad took first place in the 12th Annual CFISD Invitational on Jan. 4, defeating Houston Westside’s Cole Jorgebloed with an 11-0 majority decision in the finals of the 195-pound division. Weingrad is now 19-1 this season.
The Woodlands’ Skyler Franks took second place in the 120-pound weight class after being defeated in a 5-2 decision by New Braunfels’ Matthew Urrutia. It was the first loss of the season for Franks, who is now 20-1. Click here for complete story
