Shaping, mentoring and influencing students while teaching Air Force Junior ROTC marksmanship is what Chief Master Sergeant Daniel Cuifo enjoys most about teaching at The Woodlands High School.
For the past eight years, Cuifo has been instructing students how to use high quality .177 caliber air rifles.
He was in the Marines from 1978-1982, then in the Air Force from 1983-2006.

The school’s varsity team qualified for the national competitions by placing fourth in the southern region and 10th in the nation, among Air Force teams. The junior varsity team also qualified to compete by placing 14th in the region. The teams will compete to be one of the top six Air Force teams to represent their branch in the national service competition in February in Anniston, Alabama.
