Conroe’s boys soccer team opens its District 14-5A schedule at The Woodlands, the

defending league champion that reached the regional semifinals last season. Both teams will have to overcome a lack of recent match experience because of two doses of winter weather, but anticipation is high for Friday’s 14-5A opener on the campus of The Woodlands High School. Conroe’s girls, meanwhile, will play host to The Woodlands at Buddy Moorhead Memorial Stadium. Conroe’s boys are 10-0-1 on the season and haven’t played since a 1-1 draw against Rudder on Jan. 21. click here for complete story
