Oak Ridge students place in the freshman honor band

Oak Ridge High School had three students chosen to play at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention this year. Riley Giampaolo, Kendall Perry and Ethan Gula had to audition for and play in TMEA area competitions where the highest-ranking musicians were chosen to perform in a TMEA All-State ensemble. This is the highest achievement that a high school musician can earn and the first time in Oak Ridge 5A history that three of our students won this honor.
