Class Act presents ‘Shrek, the Musical’ this weekend

If a youngster in your family is celebrating a special occasion — like a birthday or school award — taking that child and some friends to see “Shrek, the Musical” would be a perfect reward. We’re not talking a movie here; we’re talking a nearby live, on stage performance. Class Act Youth troupe, based in The Woodlands, creates the beloved “Shrek” characters, makeup, costumes, scenery and all, next weekend in Nancy Bock Center, 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive. Ticket prices for students start at just $12.

According to co-founder Keith Brumfield, “This stage musical contains all the fun and zaniness of the movie, but we added some bonus on stage songs and dances. It’s an upbeat show that conveys a terrific message about the meaning of love and acceptance in a production that audiences will love.” click here for complete story
