Saturday, Conroe ISD students were named wrestling state champions.

“Saturday was the culmination of 4 years of hard work and perseverance,” stated coach Jeremy Horan. “We were very excited to bring home Conroe High’s first Wrestling State Champion title.”

Conroe High female wrestlers Nicola Newton and Rebecka Winton, Oak Ridge High female wrestler Rachel Bates, and The Woodlands High School male wrestler Jacob Weingrad were named UIL Wrestling State Champions Saturday, February 15, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, TX.
