Baseball: Cavaliers looking for return on investment

One of the mottos that the College Park baseball team has adopted this season is 530290c445a0e.preview-300“R.O.I.” — return on investment. In other words, the Cavaliers are hoping that all of the hard work they’ve put in during the offseason will pay off when they hit the diamond. College Park had its fair share of struggles last season, finishing with a 17-17 overall record, including a 6-6 mark in District 14-5A. The Cavs earned the league’s fourth and final playoff spot, but were eliminated in the first round by Klein Collins. College Park returns a slew of talented players to the fold in 2014 and is looking to once again be competitive at the top of the district.
