Students and staff of The Woodlands Christian Academy gathered at the school’s campus for a dedication ceremony Tuesday afternoon, celebrating the opening of the Joshua Academic Center and the David Gymnasium.
The new Joshua Academic Center adds 28,000 square feet of learning space to the campus, consisting of over 20 new classrooms, Head of School Assistant Nancy Sievert said. The building was completed in eight months and students first moved into the building at the beginning of January. School officials invited local pastors and contractors involved with the project to celebrate and tour the opening of the new center.
Julie Ambler, head of the school, said the completion of the academic center and the gymnasium is part of the rapid growth the school and its 40-acre campus have seen in recent years. Both of the projects combined totaled approximately $4 million. click here for complete story
