College Park’s Jonathan Tybur competes in the Class 5A boys 100-yard breaststroke finals at the UIL Swimming and Diving State Championships in Austin Saturday.

College Park swimmer Jonathan Tybur said the night before the state finals that he wanted to take home gold in the 100-yard breaststroke. That plan didn’t quite come to fruition, but the senior Texas A&M commit certainly did his part in helping the Cavaliers capture a state banner. Tybur and the rest of the College Park boys came away with a fifth-place team finish on Saturday at the finals of the Class 5A UIL Swimming and Diving State Championships at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center at the University of Texas.
