Almost one month has passed since Conroe and The Woodlands opened District 14-5A soccer play at Weldon Willig Field.
The Highlanders won that match 2-0, and have yet to experience defeat this season. And Conroe’s only loss came at the hands of The Woodlands, which enters tonight’s tilt at Buddy Moorhead Memorial Stadium with a 12-0-1 record, incuding a 6-0 mark in 14-5A play.
“We know that Conroe’s bringing (the earlier game) up, and we know they’re a talented team,” The Woodlands coach Hans Kleinschmidt said. “We know Coach (Jack) Richburg is going to have them ready to play.
