College park extended its current winning streak to four games on Friday as it picked up a 6-3 victory over Huntsville and a 7-4 triumph over St. Pius X on the second day of competition at the Ferrell Classic.

“Momentum is swinging our way a little bit right now,” College Park coach Jason Washburn said. “We’re making our own momentum. We’ve got a really good approach going to the box right now, putting some balls in play, and that’s one of our deals — we want to make high school players make plays. Right now, we’re not walking back to the dugout a whole bunch, which is good.”
