By season’s end, the College Park Cavaliers were squarely in the middle, .500 in district, .500 overall – and out of the baseball playoffs in the first round. “It was a roller coaster ride,” coach Jason Washburnsaid. “We had flashes of brilliance early on, but we just couldn’t capture it and hang onto it – whatever that feeling, whatever that attitude was.” Washburn said the Cavs addressed the ups and downs in the offseason, and the importance of maintaining momentum and playing with passion every time out, and now they’ve found a happy medium. click here for complete story and photo gallery
