A large contingent of Central Texas athletes will look to flex their muscles at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association state meet this weekend in Corpus Christi. Gatesville’s girls finished second in the team standings at the regional meet, and will send five lifters to the state round. The Lady Hornets’ Sabra Warren, Curtsi Cope and Kaydee Sexton won regional titles in their respective weight divisions, and they’ll be joined by teammates Elizabeth Trejo and Sarah Walker, who also qualified. click here for complete story
