On a night when his defense was shaky and the baseball gods flirted with fickle, Bryan pitcher Brandon Miner proved rock-solid. Miner, a sophomore right-hander, threw a three-hitter and worked out of a seventh-inning jam as Bryan beat A&M Consolidated 4-2 in a District 14-5A game at Viking Field on Tuesday night.
