Despite having to ride out a two-hour lightning delay, Kingwood powered past College Park in the bi-district playoffs Friday night in a 5-0 decision at Turner Stadium. Kingwood will play Cedar Ridge in the area playoffs next week though a time, location or day have yet to be worked out. Kingwood struck first blood just over ten minutes into the contest.
