Costco store in The Woodlands to open in November

Earns-Costco.JPEG-053c4Costco is officially coming to The Woodlands, according to an announcement by The Woodlands Development Co. and its parent The Howard Hughes Corp. today.

Costco  has purchased a 17.5-acre site  for its first membership warehouse club store in Montgomery County. The company will build a 153,000-square-foot store on the east side of Interstate 45 at Texas 242.

“Our residents have eagerly anticipated the opening of a Costco store in The Woodlands,” Alex Sutton, co-president of The Woodlands Development Co. said in an announcement of the land purchase. “We are pleased to announce that the new store, which is the first Costco in Montgomery County, is expected to open in November.”
