Allie Andersen led the way as The Woodlands ‘A’ team turned in a second-round score of 294 to win the District 14-5A golf tournament by 33 shots on Thursday.

The Woodlands’ Brooke McDougald was the individual medalist, turning in a second-round 75 at the Raven Nest Golf Club in Huntsville. McDougald opened tourney play with an even-par 71 on Wednesday. College Park’s ‘A’ squad overcame The Woodlands ‘B’ team to finish second in the team standings, sending the Lady Cavaliers to the Region II-5A tournament starting April 14 in Waco. click here for complete story
