Oak Ridge saw its 2014 season come to an end on Friday night, falling to Westlake 4-0 in a Region II-5A area-round playoff match at Merrill Green Stadium.

“That’s a legitimate threat to go to state,” Oak Ridge coach Jim Collins said of Westlake. “Some nights it’s not your night. … They played as hard as they could. I’m proud of our kids.”
