Boys Golf: BOYS GOLF: Three teams locked in race for District 14-5A crown

Three teams are locked in a close battle for the District 14-5A boys golf crown as local players prepare for final round tomorrow at Raven Nest Golf Course.

The Woodlands, Lufkin and A&M Consolidated enter the second day of competition within five strokes of each other, which could make for an interesting finish on the par-71 course.

The Highlanders’ A Team — last year’s league champions — finished in second place with a score of 303, led by Brady Price’s two-over-par 73. Sean Foley (74), Carter Patterson (76) and Chester Wang (80) rounded out the team’s scorers. The squad’s fifth member, Austin Shaw, fired a round of 81.
College Park’s A Team came in at 315 with contributions from Pontus Dahlstrom (78), Adam Patrick (78), Adam Dahlstrom (79) and Collin Bryant (80) click here for compete story.
