
Mark Doerries and Chris Andritsos led The Woodlands Highlanders (22-3, 8-0) baseball team to an 11-0 run rule route of the visiting A&M Consolidated TigersTuesday night at Scotland Yard.
Doerries went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI’s and Andritsos threw a three-hit shutout on the hill and helped his own cause by blasting two home runs. Andritsos homered in the first inning, to open the scoring for both teams. After Andritsos retired the Tigers in the top half of the second inning, The Woodlands scored three in the bottom-half of the inning as the Highlanders opened the flood gates. click here for complete story
