Several plays-that-could-have-been turned the Bryan softball program’s long playoff streak into used-to-be.

The Woodlands College Park took advantage of Bryan fielding mistakes to score four runs and the Lady Vikings wasted a couple of good scoring opportunities as the Lady Cavaliers claimed a 6-4 victory in a District 14-5A play-in game Monday night. College Park (17-7) earned the league’s fourth and final spot in the UIL state playoffs, where the Lady Cavs will face 13-5A champion Humble Atascocita.Bryan finished the season 17-16, missing out on the state playoffs for the first time in 15 seasons. click here for complete story
