It was 1-0 and anyone’s game heading into the sixth inning of College Park’s bi-district playoff opener against Atascocita on Thursday night.

Ultimately, though, the Lady Eagles had all the answers. Atascocita’s Kaitlyn Washington opened the top of the sixth with a towering home run to center field, and the Lady Eagles capitalized on College Park’s troubles in the field, scoring four runs on its way to a 7-1 victory. College Park dropped to 17-8 and will need a victory tonight at Atascocita to force a winner-take-all game on Saturday. click here for complete story
