After nearly 30 years of driving and riding on school buses as a coach and administrator, Harry Francis has decided to allow someone else to steer Bryan school district athletics into a new era.
Francis, a former Bryan baseball standout who spent 26 years as a coach and athletics director in the district, will retire this summer. The 55-year-old has led the school district’s athletics department since 2007, guiding the district through the opening of a second high school and last year’s rezoning that will send both Bryan and Rudder high schools into the same UIL district with A&M Consolidated and College Station next fall. click here for complete story
