The 2014 softball playoffs will get underway on Thursday evening as The Woodlands, Oak Ridge and College Park face off against teams from District 13-5A in the first round.

No. 5 state-ranked The Woodlands (28-2) wrapped up an undefeated run through District 14-5A last week and will take on Klein Collins in the bi-district round. Game 1 will be played at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Klein Oak High School. Game 2 and Game 3, if necessary, will be played back to back beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, also at Klein Oak.
