The Woodlands came away with a third-place finish at the UIL State Golf Tournament on Tuesday at Onion Creek Country Club after failing to qualify for the event just one year ago. The Lady Highlanders, who started the day in fourth place, shot 11 strokes better as a team on Day 2, finishing the tournament with a score of 607. Allen was the runaway champion with a 574 total, followed by Lake Travis at 603.
