The Texas Torque Robotics Team, which is made up of students from The Academy of Science and Technology, The Woodlands College Park High School, The Woodlands High School, and Oak Ridge High School, once again qualified to compete at the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) World Championships in St. Louis this past weekend.
The competition began with FIRST sending teams a set of parts to build a robot within a six-week period. The teams competed in regionals prior to advancing to finals. Four hundred teams from over thirty countries made it to the national competition. click here for complete story
