The Woodlands Christian Academy’s Davis Galassini took home a second-place individual finish at the TAPPS 3A Golf Championships on Tuesday, finishing with a two-day score 163.

Galassini shot 87 on Monday, but bounced back with a round of 76 on Tuesday to finish six shots back of state champion Garrett James of Beaumont Legacy Christian Academy (75-82—157).

TWCA girls finish seventh

The Warriors finished in seventh place in the girls tournament with a two-day score of 1009 (504-505). Frisco Legacy Christian Academy won the state title with a two-day score of 752 (371-381). click here for complete story
