One player made a mark on the girls soccer season that no one else could match. For her powerful presence, match-changing vision and outright tenacity, The Woodlands senior Carmen Webster is The Courier’s Montgomery County Player of the Year. A four-year starter, Webster recorded seven goals and seven assists. She played right outside midfielder, doing the dirty work that led the Lady Highlanders to a county-best 16 victories and a second straight District 14-5A championship.
