Girls: The Woodlands senior Madi McLellan finished second in the Class 5A 3,200-meter run on Saturday morning at the UIL State Track and Field Championships. McLellan, a senior running in her fourth state meet, tucked in behind leaders Paige Hofstad of New Braunfels and Devin Clark of Smithson Valley.
Boys: In his first state meet, College Park junior Connor Meaux sat on Keller senior Austen Dalquist, who led from wire to wire and finished in a personal-best 8:57.75. The state record of 8:52.34 was set in 1987 by McCullough’s Eric Henry. click here for complete story and additional photos
